Hermann Aunapuu's masterpiece "Portrait of the Wife" (1958) is an extraordinary oil on canvas painting that measures 65.3 x 54. Aunapuu's signature can be found on the lower right as "Aunapuu 58", and on the reverse. This evocative portrait is currently available for viewing at Tallinn, Mustamäe tee 4 room 103. Herman Aunapuu's artistic journey was marked by his education at “Pallas” Higher Art Courses and Tartu Art Institute, and a significant incident in 1945 when he was arrested and sent to a prison camp along with Varmo Pirk. The portrait, rich in texture and emotion, represents Aunapuu's unique style and artistic prowess.
Strahhov, Anatoli (s. 1946). Kabuki maskid (2023)

Artist: Anatoli Strahhov, a renowned artist who studied at Tshinvali Art School from 1963 to 1967 and at the Estonian SSR State Art Institute from 1971 to 1976. He currently lives and works in Tallinn. Strahhov is a member of the Estonian Artists' Union and the Estonian Russian Artists' Association. He has been exhibiting at national and international exhibitions since 1975. His annual solo exhibitions have taken place in galleries and exhibition halls in Estonia and abroad. His works are in private collections in the USA, Finland, Italy, France, Japan, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, and Estonia. Strahhov's works, which skillfully create the impression of different materials and textures, balance conservatism and experiment, tradition and exoticism, expressive materiality and ephemeral border, contain elusive textures and meanings, never fully opening. He has participated in more than 30 solo and group exhibitions. The artwork "Kabuki Maskid" is an oil and tempera on cardboard, measuring 21 x 26 cm, and is signed by the artist.

Efraim Allsalu: A Prolific Estonian Artist

Efraim Allsalu (1929 - 2006) was a renowned artist who studied at the ENSV State Art Institute under J. Võerahansu from 1948-54. He worked as a lecturer at the Tartu Art School from 1954-60 and served as the chairman of the Artists' Union Tartu branch from 1961-77. Allsalu has been participating in national and Tartu art exhibitions since 1956, and his works have been displayed at all-union exhibitions in Moscow and Estonian art exhibitions in brother republics (1972 in Czechoslovakia). In 1969, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the ENSV and participated in the Vilnius painting triennial. His most comprehensive overview of his work was given at a group exhibition (E. Allsalu, I. Malin, and K. Polli) in 1964 at the Tartu State Art Museum (a selection was introduced in 1965 in Vilnius and Kaunas). He had a personal exhibition at the Tartu State Art Museum in 1973 and at the Tallinn Art Salon in 1976.

Rita Talalaeva: A Journey Through Art and Architecture

Rita Talalaeva (b. 1965) is an architect, artist, and interior designer born in Saaremaa, Estonia. She received her education in Saratov, Russia, and currently lives and works in Estonia. Her works depict the natural beauty of the Volga banks, the expanses of the Baltic, and the charm of architecture. She has been working as an architect and graphic designer since 2000 and has been an interior designer for over 20 years. She has been a member of the Russian Designers Union since 2002 and has participated in various design competitions. She is the winner of the "Crystal House" in the nomination "Best Implemented Design Project 2004" and the owner of the diploma of the interior design competition "Italian Holidays 2012" of the chain of confectionery stores "PECHE MIGNON". She is the author of more than 20 implemented interior design projects of public spaces and private houses in Russia. She has been living and working in Estonia since 2020 and is a member of the SAAREMAA ART CLUB. She has participated in art exhibitions in Russia and annual exhibitions of Saaremaa artists. Her personal exhibition "Colors of Saaremaa" was held in 2020. She is the diploma holder of the competition "New Reality" 2021.
Meyer, Claus (1856 – 1919).
