Artwork by Jaan Tuuling: Rannamaastik Tallinna lähedal (1956)
Jaan Tuuling (1930 – 1998) was a renowned Estonian artist, best known for his painting "Rannamaastik Tallinna lähedal (1956)". This oil on cardboard piece measures 12 x 17 cm and is signed on the reverse with a pencil – J. Tuuling 1956. The artwork comes directly from the artist's family collection. Tuuling graduated from the Estonian State Art Institute in 1961, specializing in painting. He worked as an art teacher in a Tallinn school with an art bias and also as a commercial poster artist. Jaan Tuuling was a member of the Estonian Art Fund and participated in several exhibitions both domestically and abroad. His works are highly valued and can be found predominantly in private collections worldwide, including in Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, France, Finland, and the United States.
Tugi, Vilma (1924 – 2007). Rõõmus bukett. (1970. aastad)

Pulst August (1889 – 1977). Carnations (1960)

Strahhov Anatoli (s. 1946). Suure kala päev (2022)
Artist: Anatoli Strahhov, born in 1946, is a renowned artist who studied at Tshinvali Art School from 1963 to 1967 and at the Estonian SSR State Art Institute from 1971 to 1976. He currently lives and works in Tallinn. Strahhov is a member of the Estonian Artists' Union and the Estonian Russian Artists' Association. He has been participating in national and international exhibitions since 1975. His annual solo exhibitions have been held in galleries and exhibition halls in Estonia and abroad. His works are in private collections in the USA, Finland, Italy, France, Japan, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, and Estonia. Strahhov's works, which skillfully create the impression of different materials and textures, balance conservatism and experiment, tradition and exoticism, expressive materiality and ephemeralness on a strange border, contain elusive textures and meanings, never fully opening. He has participated in more than 30 solo and group exhibitions. The artwork "Suure kala päev" is an oil and tempera on canvas, measuring 62 x 64 cm, and is signed A. Strahhov 2022 in the lower right corner.
Strahhov Anatoli (born 1946). Autumn. Mountain Kisses. (2011)

The artist comes from a family of a Chernomorsky Fleet officer Nikolai Pilar von Pilhau and was born in Sevastopol. He spent his childhood in Yugoslavia and lived in Estonia since 1922. During the period of 1934-1938 he worked for the “Eesti Siid” factory and at the same time being a student of the famous painter A.Kaigorodov. During 1942-1944 he was an active member of Estonian Arts Group in Jaroslavl.
In 1969 A.Pilar was awarded the title of an honorary artist of Estonia. He was secretary of the Union of Estonian Artists from 1959 to 1961 and for the second time in 1969-1971.
Alexander Pilar gained popularity for his floral compositions, seascapes and lyrical watercolours devoted to nature.
Sonino G. (early 19th century, Italy). The Bay of Napoli (1820 – 50s)
