Ilmar Kimm (1920 - 2011) was a renowned artist who specialized in various painting genres, with a particular focus on historical and work-themed figure compositions and portraits. He completed his studies in painting at the I. Repin Institute of Art in 1948. Kimm served as a faculty member at the Tartu State Art Institute from 1948-51 and at ERKI in Tallinn from 1952-88, where he held various positions including professor and head of the painting department. His work "Meri" (1982) is an oil on canvas painting measuring 43 x 51 cm, signed "I. Kimm 82" on the bottom right. The reverse side of the painting reads "Ilmar Kimm Meri – Pärnu mnt 1982.a. õ.l. 43 x 51 cm".
Lembit Saarts (1924 -2016): “Kuused liival” (Pines on Sand)

Lembit Saarts (1924 -2016) was a renowned artist known for his distinctive, abstract, bright and airy style of painting. Born in Tartumaa in 1924, Saarts studied at the Tartu Higher Courses of Visual Arts from 1942-44 and at the Tartu State Art Institute from 1944-48. He has been exhibiting his work since 1958 and held personal exhibitions at the Tallinn Art Salon in 1971 and the Tartu Art Museum in 1974. A member of the KL since 1959, Saarts has painted portraits, landscapes, and compositions, including non-figurative ones. His work "Kuused liival" (Pines on Sand) from the 1950s is a typical example of his style. The painting is oil on paper, measuring 13.8 x 20 cm, and comes from the artist's family collection.
Mihailov, Konstantin (1908 – 1997). Kivine rand. (1960-nendad)
