Alexander Tolstoy's "Portrait of a Girl" is a captivating oil painting executed on masonite pasted on cardboard. Measuring 39,2 x 30 cm, the artwork is signed 'A. Tolstoi' on the lower right. Tolstoy was born in St. Petersburg and had a rich history of involvement in the civil war and later migrated to the Czech Republic.
