Rosen, in the lower right corner and is marked with the number 569 in the lower left. Rosen's study at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts (1972-78) and Düsseldorf Academy of Arts (1983-86) under professor E. Dücker significantly shaped his artistic journey. Living in Riga from 1891-1919, Baron Rosen taught at the Polytechnic Institute of Riga, where he served as an assistant professor and later a full professor. In 1919, he traveled to Germany, continuing his contribution to the art world as a liberal painter in St. Petersburg and the Baltic region.
