This 28 x 38 piece exhibits the virtuosity and refined technique that he was renowned for. As one of the most distinguished watercolourists from the 1950s to the 1970s, Karl Burman Jr. captured mesmerizing cityscapes and was an avid participant in the architecture scene. Having studied at the University of Tartu, the Tallinn Institute of Technology, and the Moscow Art Institute, his art education was enriched by his father Karl Burman senior and uncle Paul Burman. Karl Burman the Younger's significant role as an organizer of the Union of Estonian Artists in Yaroslavl in 1943 adds to his historical contribution to the field of art.

Also known as Niinemäe, Boris Ninemäe was born in 1925 and passed away in 1991. His artistic journey began in Estonia but was cut short due to war and emigration. Despite these challenges, Ninemäe continued his studies abroad, enhancing his skills through educational trips in Finland, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Germany, Italy, France, and the USA. His love for his homeland was evident in his artwork, often depicting the everyday lives and leisure moments of ordinary people in Estonia. His exhibitions have been held in various cities in Sweden and Norway, including Malmö, Växjö, Karlshamn, Larvik, Elverum, and Stockholm. Ninemäe's works can be found in various foreign museums. The piece "Sepad" was created between 1960 and 1970, using oil on canvas, measuring 60 x 50. The signature "Ninemäe" can be found on the bottom right of the piece.
