Ojalo, Ilmar (1910 – 1989). Model. (1941)
This exquisite oil painting on canvas, measuring 65.5 x 54 cm, is an embodiment of the talent of Ilmar Ojalo. The piece is signed "Ojalo" on the upper right corner. The reverse reveals the date "1941" and Ilmar Ojalo's signature, along with the title "Modell" and the size 65 x 54. Ilmar Ojalo's journey in art commenced in Tallinn, and he furthered his art education in Prague and Helsinki. From 1949 to 1958, he lent his meticulous touch as a restorer at the renowned Hermitage.
