Pulst August (1889 – 1977). Irises (1976)
Pulst August's magnificent painting "Irises (1976)" is a beautiful oil on plywood masterpiece. Measuring at 42.4 x 31.2 cm, it's a part of Pulst's long-standing tradition of producing captivating landscapes, flowers, and views of old town. Painted in 1976 and signed A. Pulst, it's a testament to his artistic skills honed in Riga Art School under the guidance of V. Purvitis, V. Tillbergs, and B. Borchert. Pulst's rich history includes working in the theatre "Estonia" as a decorator and contributing to Estonian folklore and museums. His art often bears an ethnographical touch, and "Irises" is no exception. A truly wonderful piece to adorn any collection.
Greeff, Johann Peter Karl ( 1865-1939). Birches. (early 20th century)
Oil on canvas painting by Johann Peter Karl Greeff (1865-1939), depicting one of his favorite motifs, Birches. The painting measures 31.5 x 46 cm and is signed in the lower left as P.Greeff. Greeff was educated at the Düsseldorf Academy (1881-1882) and the Karlsruhe Art School (1889-1890), and was known for his participation in major German art centers. He was a member of the Malkasten Artists' Association in Düsseldorf and an exhibition association. His friendship with the famous Estonian artists Kristjan and Paul Raud is noteworthy, and the early 20th-century piece captures the essence of his artistic style.
Lange, Fredrik (1870 – 1941). Horses on the Hill. (1926)
Horses on the Hill, a captivating 1926 masterpiece by Fredrik Lange, vividly captures the essence of Skagen's northern landscapes on the Jutland peninsula. Zoege von Manteuffel, Eva Juliane Magdalene (1853 – 1939). Mountain Landscape.

Pavel, Louis (1915 – 1977). River Landscape (1950s)

Tolstoy, Alexander (1895-1969). Portrait of a Girl. (1940s)
Alexander Tolstoy's "Portrait of a Girl" is a captivating oil painting executed on masonite pasted on cardboard. Measuring 39,2 x 30 cm, the artwork is signed 'A. Tolstoi' on the lower right. Tolstoy was born in St. Petersburg and had a rich history of involvement in the civil war and later migrated to the Czech Republic. He received extensive art training from esteemed institutions in Prague and was a founding member of the Czech Union of Russian Artists. His acclaim reached the shores of Scandinavia, where he is recognized particularly for his nude and portrait works.
