Lepik, Hugo (1905 – 2001). The Alpine Violets. (1950s)

Hugo Lepik's masterpiece "The Alpine Violets" from the 1950s showcases his exceptional talent in painting landscapes, capturing the deep and vigorous coloring that is characteristic of his works. This oil on canvas, measuring 41.5 x 33.5 cm, features beautiful scenes from Estonia and images from Sweden and Norway. Lepik, a graduate of the State Industrial and Art School, traveled extensively to enhance his skills, eventually emigrating to Sweden in 1944. His mastery is not limited to landscapes; he also excelled in portraits. His works have been exhibited in various cities, including Riga, Kaunas, Antwerp, Rome, Budapest, Stockholm, Montreal, and throughout Sweden.

Jaan Tuuling graduated from the Estonian State Institute of Arts in 1961 with a degree in painting. He has worked as an art teacher in an art school in Tallinn and also as an artist of advertising posters. Jaan Tuuling was a member of the Estonian Art Foundation. He participated in several exhibitions both in Estonia and abroad. His works are highly regarded and are mostly found in private collections around the world, including in Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, France, Finland and the United States.

Fischhof, who studied at both the Viennese Art School and the Munich School, employed various pseudonyms, and this particular artwork is an example of his talent in capturing the essence of nature.
Anatoli Strahhov: A Virtuoso of Different Materials and Textures

Anatoli Strahhov (b. 1946) is a renowned artist and collector, known for his virtuoso ability to create impressions of different materials and textures. His works, which balance conservatism and experimentation, traditionalism and exoticism, expressive materiality and ephemeral boundaries, contain elusive textures and meanings that never fully reveal themselves. Strahhov studied at the Tshinvali Art School from 1963 to 1967 and at the Estonian SSR State Art Institute from 1971 to 1976. He lives and works in Tallinn and is a member of the Estonian Artists' Union and the Estonian Russian Artists' Association. He has been exhibiting in national and international exhibitions since 1975. His annual solo exhibitions have taken place in both Estonian and foreign galleries and exhibition halls. His works can be found in private collections in the USA, Finland, Italy, France, Japan, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, and Estonia. He has participated in more than 30 solo and group exhibitions.
