Espe, Nigul (1907 – 1970). Landscape with a Small House. (1958).
Oil on cardboard, "Landscape with a Small House" by Nigul Espe, dated 1958, captures the essence of a rural scene with free strokes. Measuring 35 x 25cm, it's signed lower right by the artist. Espe graduated from the "Pallas" Art School in 1932, studying in Ado Vabbe's studio. He was a member of the Artists Union from 1945 and has participated in shows since 1929, exhibiting in cities like Riga, Rome, and Budapest. This landscape stands as one of Espe's best works, representing a unique blend of style and emotion.

Leškin, Viktor (1914-1998). Yellow tulips. (1983) is a beautiful oil painting on cardboard, signed "Leškin 83" at the lower right. On the reverse, it's inscribed with "Viktor Leškin s. 1914a. Teostatud 1989 a. „kollased tьlpid” nr 3." This piece reflects Viktor Leškin's impressive talent in landscape artistry, which made him notable in the 1950s and 1960s. Graduating from the Estonian State Art Institute in 1949, he gained recognition for his fresh and picturesque landscapes that were prominently displayed in many exhibitions of the era.
