Huu 9.VI, it carries an essence of the artistry that runs deep in Monika’s bloodline. She is the progeny of the renowned artist, Karin Pipenberg. Monika’s academic journey traces back to her time at the National Art School and the Tallinn Art and Applied Art School from 1938-42, where she studied pottery. She furthered her skills at the Munich Academy during evening courses. By 1945, Monika returned to her homeland, and this very artwork stands testament to her skills nurtured at the National School of Art.
