Lepik’s signature style, marked by deep and vigorous coloring. Hugo Lepik’s landscapes of Estonia, Sweden, and Norway are renowned, and his portraits are equally celebrated. Educated at the State Industrial and Art School in 1929, Lepik furthered his skills across the globe, including Germany, Italy, Finland, and Canada. The artist emigrated to Sweden in 1944, and his works were displayed in cities such as Riga, Kaunas (1937), Antwerp, Rome, Budapest (1939), Stockholm (1946), Montreal (1951), and various Swedish cities.
