Fritz, Max (1849 – 1914). Evening in Port. (19/20 centuries)
Pastell on paper, "Evening in Port" is an exemplary work by Max Fritz, one of the most prominent German artists from the early 20th century who also worked extensively in the USA. Measuring 44 x 64 cm, this piece showcases Fritz's mastery of the pastel medium. It's signed "Max Fritz" in the lower left corner and "Max Fritz 'Abendstimmung im Hafen' M. 650" on the reverse. Eisendieck, Suzanne (1906 – 1998). The Girl on a Sofa. (1940s).
Suzanne Eisendieck's "The Girl on a Sofa" (1940s) is a captivating oil on canvas painting. Measuring 47.5 x 44 cm, this piece showcases Eisendieck's unique style inspired by French Impressionists. Born in Danzig to German parents, she studied at Berlin State Academy and exhibited at the Galerie Zak. She painted using oil paint and occasionally pastels, reflecting her dedication to the craft. Eisendieck became one of the youngest pupils of Fritz August Pfuhle and was able to achieve great success after years of financial struggle. Peil, Voldemar (1907 – 1999). Käsmu. (1960-70)
This exquisite piece titled "Käsmu" by Voldemar Peil (1907 - 1999) showcases the artist's remarkable talent in landscapes and portraits. Painted in the 1960s or 70s, the oil on canvas pasted on cardboard reveals Peil's artistic influences and engagement with the theatre world. Trained at the prestigious “Pallas” Art School in Tartu, Peil had a lifelong connection with various theatres including the Narva Drama Theatre and Tallinn Drama Theatre. Recognized as the People's Artist of Estonia in 1968, Peil's works have been celebrated at numerous exhibitions across Estonia and a personal exhibition in Moscow (House of Scientists) in 1978. Evald Sagur’s Natüürmort õuntega (1974) – A Watercolor Masterpiece
Evald Sagur (1922 - 1987) was a renowned artist known for his mastery in watercolor painting. This particular piece, "Natüürmort õuntega" (1974), is a beautiful example of his work. The painting, done on paper, measures 33 x 47 cm and is signed by the artist himself. Sagur completed his education at the State Industrial School in 1940 and later graduated from the Tallinn State Institute of Applied Art in 1950. He worked as a lecturer at ERKI and then at the Cinematography Main Administration. He began exhibiting his work in 1960 and held his first solo exhibition in 1963 at the Sõprus cinema in Tallinn. Sagur was a member of the Artists' Union from 1962 and was known for his vibrant, decorative works.
Uiga, Johannes (1918 – 1998). Landskape Pühajär. (1990)
Johannes Uiga's exquisite painting, "Landskape Pühajär" (1990), is an oil on cardboard creation that beautifully captures the essence of South Estonian landscapes. The work is signed "J.Uiga. 90" on the lower left and noted on the reverse as "Pühajärvel õli,papp 50 x 70 1990 a. J. Uiga." Uiga, a celebrated figure in Estonian art, graduated from the "Pallas" Art School in Tartu under the guidance of A.Vardi, K.Liimand, V.Ormisson, and has been a member of the Artists Union of Estonia since 1959. Paikule, Arija (born 1955). The Sea.(2018)

Büchtger, Robert (1862 – 1951). Winter Landscape. (Late 19th early 20th century)
Oil on canvas painting by Robert Büchtger, titled "Winter Landscape." This beautiful piece, measuring 90 x 116 cm, is signed lower left by Rob. Büchtger. A renowned landscape painter, portraitist, and illustrator, R. Büchtger's career spanned St. Petersburg, Riga, and Munich. Apprenticed to notable Russian artists Gavriil Kondratenko and Ivan Shishkin, he later moved to Munich, where he lived till his life's end. This landscape painting exemplifies his skill and mastery as a Munich artist of the late 19th and early 20th century.
