One of the very well–known emigrant artists of Estonia. His pictures are sensual and sophisticated at the same time. One can recognize the works of Herman Talvik at a glance. Studied at the Art Industry School in Tallinn and then continued at the Art Society School in Finland.
While living in Sweden, Talvik frequently visited Spain in the 1950s and 60s. At that time, he painted a lot of landscapes, preferring duller colors in this genre.

Loik Ilme (b. 1939) – “Naissaarelt” (2016)
Loik Ilme, born in 1939 in Vahastus, Raplamaal, is a renowned artist known for his work in painting and porcelain. He completed his education from Tartu Art School in 1968 as an artist-decorator and from the Estonian State Art Academy as a ceramist in 1974. He has worked as an artist-decorator in Tallinn's Cafes-Restaurants Trust and as an artist in the ARS porcelain painting art combine. Currently, he is engaged as a freelance artist in painting and porcelain. He has exhibited his work in Estonia and Finland. The artwork "Naissaarelt" from 2016, an oil on cardboard painting, measures 37.5 x 56.5 cm and is signed on the bottom left as Ilme Loik 2016.

This mesmerizing piece titled "The unknown artist from the beginning of the 20th century. Sea Coast(1948)" is an authentic oil painting on plywood. Measuring at 30 x 40, the beauty of the sea coast is brought to life with every brushstroke. A faint signature and date can be spotted on the lower right, but they're somewhat challenging to decipher.
Eist, Aksel (1930 – 2000). Still-life with Lemons. (1970s)
