Loik, Valerian (1904 – 1986). Fish. (1949)

Watercolour and gouache on paper, this stunning artwork "Fish" (1949) by Valerian Loik depicts the artist's passion for fishing. Measuring 33.5 x 40 cm, it is signed by Loik and dated 18.IV 49. Valerian Loik, a Professor at the Estonian State Art Institute since 1967, was a master of pictorial compositions, city views, and still lifes. This particular piece exemplifies his virtuosity in capturing the image of fish. He graduated from the Pallas Art School in 1935 and later improved his skills in Paris. Teaching at the State Art Institute from 1950 to 1976, his works can be found in numerous museum collections. The painting has participated in various exhibitions in Estonia, the Baltic States, Moscow, and all-Union exhibitions.
Imbi Lind (b. 1930) – Talvemaastik (1986) Oil on Cardboard Painting

Imbi Lind (b. 1930) is a renowned artist, known for her daring work as a television artist and her diverse genres in panel painting. She has created numerous portraits of creative personalities. This particular piece, "Talvemaastik" (1986), is an oil on cardboard painting, measuring 35 x 35 cm. The signature "I.Lind 86" can be found at the bottom right of the painting. Imbi Lind is not only a celebrated artist but also the wife of Luulik Kokamäe and the mother of Epp-Maria Kokamäe.
Kaufmann, Karl Adolf (1849 – 1905). Late Autumn. (The end of XIX sentury)

Jaan Tuuling (1930 – 1998) is a renowned artist known for his work "Antsu karjamaa" (1958). Allsalu Efraim. (1929 – 2006). Akt. (1997)

Presenting "Akt" (1997) by the distinguished Estonian artist Efraim Allsalu, this remarkable oil painting on cardboard reflects the mastery and artistic prowess that characterized Allsalu's life's work. Measuring 84 x 48, the piece is signed in the lower right by Allsalu himself. Spending most of his life in Tartu, Estonia, Efraim Allsalu began his art journey in 1948 and quickly became renowned as one of Estonia's great painters, exhibiting throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Born in Munich, Paul Braig is a French painter. Paul Braig studied at the Munich Academy and in 1923-1924 at the Bauhaus in Dessau under Kandinsky and Klee, then in France at the rich and powerful school of Roger Bissière. His movement - Expressionism. But according to the critic Gérald Schurr, Expressionism is endowed with "a certain tenderness and oriental sensuality". To this can be added his free, skillful brushstrokes, which often made him a remarkable portraitist and a highly sought-after poster artist. He was rightly considered the Courbet of our time – modernized, that is! Working in France, Italy and other countries.
