Petersen, Albert (1875-1957). Port. (1920 -30s)
This captivating oil on canvas piece, measuring 45 x 66, showcases the finesse of artist Albert Petersen. With his signature visible on the lower left as "Alb. Petersen", this piece is a testament to Petersen's recognition, having been an exhibitor at the esteemed Grand Salon in Paris. Born in Troelstrup, Denmark, in 1875, Petersen's art education took place at the Academy of Fine Arts, where he was mentored by renowned artists Otto Bache and S. Vermehren. His thirst for learning led him on study trips across Europe, touching the cultural capitals of Dresden, Rome, Vienna, Paris, Brussels, Antwerp, and Amsterdam. Petersen's first brush with the art-loving audience was in 1899, a journey that would later see him participating in various prestigious exhibitions across European capitals.
Leškin Viktor (1914-1998). Lilac. (1983)

Espe Nigul (1907 – 1970). The Coast. (1963) is an exquisite watercolour painting on paper, measuring 22 x 32 cm, and signed by the artist in the lower right as N. Espe 1963. The artist graduated from the prestigious "Pallas" Art School in 1932 and was a student in Ado Vabbe's studio. He became a member of the Artists Union in 1945 and started participating in shows from 1929. Nigul Espe's works have been exhibited in cities like Riga, Rome, and Budapest. This particular landscape is a remarkable piece, painted with free strokes, showcasing one of Nigul Espe's best works.
Breard Henri-Georges (1873 – 1939). France Stilllife (the beginning of 20 centuries).
This exquisite oil painting by Henri Breard, a renowned French artist born in 1873 in Paris, beautifully captures the essence of still life at the beginning of the 20th century. Breard, having studied at the Acad. Julian in Paris under the tutelage of masters Henri Royer and François Schommer, specialized in portraits, genre paintings, and landscapes. Eevi Valdov graduated from ERKI in 1972 and has illustrated numerous books in Estonian. Pieces by Eevi Valdov are a rarity.
Meyer, Claus (1856 – 1919).
Experience the beauty and elegance of Claus Meyer's "Flowers in a Faience Vase." Painted during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, this oil on canvas piece is a masterful example of Meyer's artistic prowess. Born in Linden and trained at prestigious institutions such as the Nuremberg School and Munich Academy, Meyer's technique blossomed. He later became a professor at both the Karlsruhe and Düsseldorf Academies. The painting, measuring 81.5 x 71, features a delicate arrangement of flowers in a decorative vase.
