Habicht, Ülo (1923 – 1991). Flowers. (1988)
Introducing "Flowers" (1988) by Ülo Habicht, a mesmerizing pastel on paper that beautifully captures the essence of nature. Measuring 58 x 46 cm, this artwork is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. Ülo Habicht, born in Tallinn in 1923, was a prominent figure in the Estonian art scene. He was educated at the State School of Art and Design and the Estonian SSR State Art Institute. Habicht's diverse legacy includes book designs, paintings, posters, interior designs, and large-scale exhibition designs, such as the International Book Exhibition in Moscow. "Flowers" stands as a testament to his artistic mastery, bringing elegance and depth to any collection.
Franz Karl Eduard von Gebhardt (1838 – 1925). Mother and Child. (1920s)
This exquisite oil painting, titled "Mother and Child," is a masterpiece by Franz Karl Eduard von Gebhardt. Painted on wood, the piece measures 119.5 x 44 cm. The artist's initials "EvGebhardt" can be discerned at the lower right corner, while "E. Gebhardt Nachlass" is inscribed on the reverse. This work was distinctly crafted for a specific location and holds sentimental value, intended for those dear to the artist. Eduard von Gebhardt, an alumnus of the St Petersburg Academy of Arts, later became a distinguished professor at the Düsseldorf Academy. His artistry has often been likened to the legendary maestros of the Renaissance era. This piece has graced various exhibitions, including those in Tallinn, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Brussels, and Dresden.
Pulst, August (1889 – 1977). Vase and book. (1945)
Watercolour painting "Vase and book" (1945) by August Pulst exemplifies his affinity for landscapes, flowers, and views of old town. This 38x43cm painting has an ethnographical touch and reflects Pulst's unique artistic approach, educated at Riga Art School and further enriched by his experience as a decorator in the theatre "Estonia" and his significant role in Estonian museums. Signed by the artist (A. Pulst 1945), it's a precious piece of art that brings an elegant and historical touch to any collection.
Riisman, Johannes (1903 – 1967). Corner of Tallinn on Toompea. (1920–30s)
Johannes Riisman's masterpiece "Corner of Tallinn on Toompea" (1920–30s) is an exquisite work of art. This beautiful pastel on paper composition, measuring 39.8 x 30.2 cm, captures the essence of Tallinn's charm. The signature JR-N on the lower right corner authenticates the piece. Riisman was trained in A.Lajkmaa's studio at the Art School and began his artistic journey in 1919. The piece is a reflection of his mastery and love for the city's landscape. Kongo, Alfred. (1906 – 1990). Kanepi Landscape. (1988)
Alfred Kongo's "Kanepi Landscape" (1988) is a striking tempera on cardboard painting, sized at 50.5 x 65.5 cm, and reflecting the distinct "Pallas" style that Kongo is renowned for. Created in 1988 and signed by the artist in the lower right, this work also bears the title "Sügisene Kanepi maastik" on the reverse. Alfred Kongo, a graduate of the "Pallas" Art School in Tartu and a student of J.Vahtra, A.Vabbe, and V.Ormisson, has a rich legacy of art presented in numerous museums and exhibitions. This piece embodies his artistic essence, capturing the colors and emotions of the landscape in a way that resonates with art enthusiasts.

This mesmerizing piece titled "The unknown artist from the beginning of the 20th century. Sea Coast(1948)" is an authentic oil painting on plywood. Measuring at 30 x 40, the beauty of the sea coast is brought to life with every brushstroke. A faint signature and date can be spotted on the lower right, but they're somewhat challenging to decipher.
Enno Lehis: A Master of Watercolor Landscapes
Enno Lehis (1912-2011) was a renowned Estonian watercolor artist, born in Loksa, Harju County. He studied trumpet at the Tallinn Conservatory from 1930 to 1934 and later pursued painting at the Estonian State Art Institute under the guidance of Johannes Greenberg and Lepo Mikko from 1944 to 1951. Lehis held his first exhibition in 1958 and his caricatures were published in the magazine PIKKER during 1957-1958. He was a member of the Estonian Artists' Union since 1959 and participated in various exhibitions in Tallinn, Moscow, and Riga. He held a total of seven solo exhibitions. Lehis worked as a freelancer and his main body of work consists of landscape paintings, with a particular focus on the sea and autumn nature. He also practiced composition and portraiture. His unique style involved the use of soft melting tones, achieved by allowing the colors to blend while wet. The artwork measures 35 x 50 cm and is signed 'E. Lehis' at the bottom right. On the reverse, at the top right, it is marked 'Lehis, Enno Flowers watercolor 1962'.
Dobrovolsky, Dmitri (born 1968). Kolyada. (2012)
This exquisite oil painting on canvas, titled "Kolyada", showcases the masterful artistry of Dmitri Dobrovolsky. Painted in 2012, Dobrovolsky's signature can be found on the lower right, depicting his characteristic touch and vision.
