Kosenkov Vasily Petrovich (1919- 1992). Winter. (1950s)

Kosenkov was a disciple of the prominent Soviet master, Sergey Gerasimov. Plückebaum, Carl (Каrl) (1880 – 1952). Taken a rest. (1910 -years)

Natalie Mei's "Sketch for a Costume. Kalman "Maritsa" (1935)" stands as a testament to her prolific career as one of Estonia's leading graphics and theatrical designers. This watercolour on paper, measuring 28.2 x 18.4 cm, reflects Mei's deep connection to theatre, with her extraordinary work extending to renowned productions like "Romeo and Juliet," "Boris Godunov," "Princess Turandot," and "Carmen." With delicate strokes and an expert understanding of form, the piece conveys Mei's unique style and captures a moment in the theatrical world that continues to inspire. It is signed in the upper left as "Mariza."
Viktor Leškin’s “Naine klaveri juures” (1957) – Oil on Canvas
Viktor Leškin (1914-1998) is a renowned artist known for his diverse range of paintings spanning several decades and genres. His work, which includes oil paintings, charcoal drawings, and watercolors, is characterized by a realistic style. This particular piece, titled "Naine klaveri juures" (Woman at the Piano), was created in 1957 and is a portrait of his wife. The oil on canvas painting measures 34.7 x 24.7 cm. Leškin graduated from the State Art Industrial School in 1936, specializing in decorative painting, and the Tallinn State Institute of Applied Art in 1949, specializing in sculpture. Despite his training, he is most famous for his work as a painter. His body of work is diverse, ranging from documentary city and industrial landscapes to emotional bouquets of field flowers.
Haas, Voldemar (1889–1982). “Wood in the Winter”. (Late 1960s, early 1970s).

Created in the late 1960s or early 1970s, this oil on canvas painting captures Haas's unique talent for painting nature, demonstrating his keen interest in light effects. Haas, who also worked as a stage designer at the "Vanemuine" Theatre in Tartu and the "Estonia" Theatre in Tallinn, has always found solace in easel painting. Lepik Hugo (1905 – 2001). Autumn. (1960-70s)
Oil on canvas painting "Autumn" (1960-70s) by Hugo Lepik, measuring 50 x 61.2 cm and signed on the lower right as H.Lepik. Hugo Lepik graduated from the State Industrial and Art School in 1929, and honed his skills in Germany, Italy, Finland, and Canada before emigrating to Sweden in 1944. Known for his deep and vigorous coloring, Hugo Lepik's works reflect the Estonian landscapes and scenes from Sweden and Norway. In addition to landscapes, he also painted striking portraits. His exhibitions have graced the galleries of Riga, Kaunas (1937), Antwerp, Rome, Budapest (1939), Stockholm (1946), Montreal (1951), and various cities in Sweden.
Anishchenko Vladimir (born 1965). The Color of the Sea. (2020)
Vladimir Anishchenko's oil on canvas masterpiece, "The Color of the Sea" (2020), is a beautiful expression of nature's serene beauty.
