Antipov Stas. Pirita. The Bridge. (2005)

Paas, Otto (1918-1987). Urban Landscape. (1948)
This evocative urban landscape painting by Otto Paas reflects the artist's profound connection to the cities he lived in. Rendered on masonite, its dimensions measure 45 x 60 cm, and it is distinctly signed in the lower right corner with "48. O. Paas". Otto Paas, a significant name in 20th-century art, had to emigrate to Sweden in 1944 to continue his artistic journey. His foundational education was at "Pallas" between 1938-1944, after which he sought further enhancement in Paris by 1954. With his works being showcased in various exhibitions across Sweden and the United States, this piece stands as a testament to his unique vision and undying passion for art.
Loik, Valerian (1904 – 1986). View on Oleviste from Aia Street. (1970 -s)

Vlasov, Sergei Alekseevich, (1873 – 1942). Russian artist. Guslyar. (1931)
This piece titled "Guslyar" from 1931 showcases the impeccable talent of Sergei Alekseevich Vlasov. Rendered in oil on cardboard, it epitomizes Vlasov's deep connection with his roots and his keen observation of the world around him. The texture and hues of the artwork beckon viewers, revealing a snippet of Russian life and history. As a student at the Higher Art School at the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, under the tutelage of IE Repin, Vlasov honed his artistic skills and later rose to prominence. Eduard Maaser (1916 – 1990). Old Gypsy. (1934/35)

The model is known from the works of the Pallasists; the painting probably dates from the time of Maaser's studies at "Pallas".
The artist Eduard Maaser was born in 1916 in Russia. He died in 1990 in Tartu. He studied at Hugo Treffner Gymnasium in 1934, graduated from Tartu Gymnasium in 1934. In 1934–35 he studied at Pallas, in 1948 he graduated from the Tartu State Institute of Art, majoring in painting. In the 1950s he painted watercolors and oil paintings (mostly still lifes, flowers and landscapes). In the 1960s he focused on watercolors, capturing the landscape of South Estonia. He has participated in exhibitions since 1944. From 1961 to 1972 he was the head of the distance learning courses in fine arts at the Tartu Art Museum.
The work dates from his studies at the Tartu State Art Institute, where E. Maaser continued the studio he had left unfinished at “Pallas”. The traditions of “Pallas” continued at this school under the guidance of Pallas lecturers.
Portraits are very rare in Maaser’s work.
Maaser, Eduard (1916 – 1990). Kind on Kunda. (1943)
This stunning watercolor piece titled "Kind on Kunda" was created by Eduard Maaser in 1943. Measuring 49.8 x 69 cm, the artwork is marked lower right with "Ed. Maaser Kundas, 10. X 1943". Born in Russia in 1916 and later settling in Tartu, where he died in 1990, Maaser was a prominent artist with an extensive education in painting. He graduated from the Tartu State Art Institute and made significant contributions to art, mainly focusing on watercolors. His works capture the essence of southern Estonia, and his legacy continues through various exhibitions. This particular piece represents his time studying under the guidance of teachers at Pallas at the Tartu State Art Institute.
Simson, Arnold. (1899-1982). Leaf of a Chestnut on a Blue Background. (1979)
