Born in Kiev in 1968, Dobrovolsky is a highly accomplished painter who graduated as a designer from the local High School for Applied Art and Design, and later as a painter-monumentalist from the State Academy of Figurative Art and Architecture. Under the guidance of well-known painters-academicians V.Zabashty and V.Storozhenko, he became a member of the Union of Ukrainian Artists in 1998. Over the past two decades, his work has been featured in over 20 local and international exhibitions, and his pieces are held in private collections and museums across Europe, the U.S.A., and Canada.
