Product name: Oil on cardboard. Author: Valdur Ohakas (1925-1998). Valdur Ohakas was one of the most prominent artists in Estonia in the second half of the 20th century. His paintings brought him real fame. He studied at the Tartu Art Institute from 1944 until his imprisonment. After World War II, when Soviet society was suppressed and tamed, Valdur Ohakas had a background in a Siberian prison camp (1949-1956).
A work from the period when V. Ohaka, like his peers of his generation, was characterized by the search for expressive picturesqueness.

Viktor Leškin graduated from the State Art and Industrial School in 1936 with a degree in decorative painting and from the Tallinn State Institute of Applied Arts in 1949 with a degree in sculpture, but he has nevertheless become known as a painter. Leškin's paintings from different decades have a very wide range of themes and are in several different genres. A cross-section of his work is diverse - from documenting views of urban and industrial landscapes to emotional bouquets of field flowers. A common feature in Viktor Leškin's painting heritage is a realistic style that accompanies his oil paintings, charcoal drawings and watercolors.
Strahhov, Anatoli (s. 1946). Pärnu laht (2020)

Artist: Anatoli Strahhov, born in 1946, is a renowned artist who studied at Tshinvali Art School from 1963 to 1967 and at the Estonian SSR State Art Institute from 1971 to 1976. He currently lives and works in Tallinn. Strahhov is a member of the Estonian Artists' Union and the Estonian Russian Artists' Association. He has been participating in national and international exhibitions since 1975. His annual solo exhibitions have been held in galleries and exhibition halls in Estonia and abroad. His works are in private collections in the USA, Finland, Italy, France, Japan, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, and Estonia. Strahhov's works, which skillfully create the impression of different materials and textures, balance between conservatism and experiment, tradition and exoticism, expressive materiality and ephemeral border, contain elusive textures and meanings, never fully revealing themselves. He has participated in more than 30 solo and group exhibitions. The artwork "Pärnu laht" is an oil and tempera on canvas, measuring 25 x 35 cm, and is signed by the artist in 2020.
