Jaan Tuuling (1930 – 1998) is a renowned artist known for his work “Antsu karjamaa” (1958). This piece, an oil on cardboard measuring 12.7 x 17.5 cm, is a testament to Tuuling’s mastery of the medium. The work comes from the artist’s family collection and is signed by Tuuling himself. Tuuling graduated from the Estonian State Art Institute in 1961, specializing in painting. He worked as an art teacher in a Tallinn school with an art bias and as an advertising poster artist. A member of the Estonian Art Fund, Tuuling participated in numerous exhibitions both domestically and abroad. His works are highly valued and can be found predominantly in private collections worldwide, including in Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, France, Finland, and the United States.
