Olev Soans, an alumnus of the State Art Institute of Estonia, has an illustrious career as a professor, senior lecturer, and one of the most outstanding graphic artists of his time. Known for his etching techniques, he has crafted numerous historical maps of Estonia and won the prestigious prize named after Kristian Raud in 1985.
