Alex Kütt, an influential Estonian artist born in 1945, graduated from the Tallinn State Institute of Applied Arts in 1949 and went on to have a significant impact in the world of printmaking. “Kütt, Alleks (1921 – 1971). Created using aquatint on paper, this 46 x 60 cm artwork is marked with “Kiirus II” Akvatinta proov on the lower left and signed A.Kütt 79a on the lower right.
