This exquisite watercolour on paper captures the delicate essence of the Asters. Sized at 39 x 37 cm, it’s signed at the lower right by E. Pikk. Pikk has a distinguished career, having worked in notable establishments like the Artistic Products Combination, the Estonian State Publishers, and the editorial office of Täheke. Starting from 1981, Pikk took to freelance artistry. Being a significant member of the Estonian Association of Journalists since 1961 and joining the Estonian Artists’ Association in 1967, his legacy includes a plethora of cheerful decorative drawings illustrating children’s books.
