His work “Seacoast” (1960-70) reflects the beauty of the coastal region and epitomizes his engagement with nature. As an awarded People’s Artist of Estonia, his legacy lives on through his extensive contributions to the Estonian art scene, including the Narva Drama Theatre, “Vanemuine,” Tallinn Drama Theatre, and Russian State Drama Theatre. In 1978, his artistic excellence was celebrated in a personal exhibition in Moscow (House of Scientists).
