Artwork “Suvepäev” (2021) by Nilov Vladimir

Nilov Vladimir (b. 1950) is a respected artist of the Russian Federation and a member of the Russian Artists Union. He is one of the leading Russian graphic artists and a promoter of etching traditions. He represents the Vladimir school. Born on February 5, 1950, in the village of Khilovo in the Pskov region, he graduated from Ivanovo Art School in 1977 and the Moscow Higher Art and Industrial School (formerly known as Stroganov) in 1982. He is a gold medalist of V.I. Surikov VTOO “Russian Artists Union”, 2015. The artwork “Suvepäev” (2021) is an etching on paper, measuring 45 x 55 cm. The inscription on the left reads “Летний день 5/10 2021 г.” and on the right “В. Нилов”.
