Karlsruhe majolica – Sketch of Gronau Lor Frederick (1935)

Standing at a height of 47.5 cm, it is based on model number 6397, carrying the distinguished mark of the Karlsruhe plant. The Karlsruhe ceramic manufactory, initiated by revered German artists Wilhelm Süsi and Hans Thoma in 1901, was founded with the vision to infuse the essence of the Italian Renaissance into its creations. Today, it proudly stands as the sole operating manufactory in Germany.
