Born in Boulogne-sur-Seine and later flourishing in Stockholm, Cecilia von Gegerfelt is an esteemed Swedish artist, best known for her picturesque landscape paintings. After undergoing extensive training in Dresden, the Danish Academy of Arts, and under the guidance of Karl Wilhelmson, Gegerfelt embarked on a journey to depict the bustling streets of iconic cities like Paris, Rome, and Venice in oil and watercolors. Her Swedish renditions prominently feature locales such as Halland Vedero and Torekov. Her masterpieces have earned a spot at the National Museum of Sweden.
