Henno Arrak (1930 – 2017) was a renowned graphic artist born in Tallinn. He began his studies at ERKI in 1957 and graduated in 1963, specializing in book graphics. His illustrations often emphasized the drama of the situation and the uniqueness of the characters, as seen in R. Sirge’s “Maa ja rahvas”. The piece “Ehitajad” (1967) is a linocut on Finnish cardboard, measuring 32 x 45 cm. The title “Ehitajad. Linool” is inscribed on the bottom left, while “H.Arrak 1967” is on the bottom right.
