Imbi Lind: A Journey Through Art and Television

Imbi Lind, born in 1930, is a renowned artist known for her bold work in television artistry, but she has also cultivated various genres of panel painting. She began her studies at ERKI in 1949, graduating in 1956 with a specialization in painting and theater decoration. From 1958 to 1970, she worked as an artist for Estonian TV and from 1970 to 1983 for Tallinfilm. She has been exhibiting since 1958 and has been a member of the Artists' Union since 1957. Imbi Lind is the wife of Luulik Kokamäe and the mother of Epp-Maria Kokamäe. The artwork is an oil on masonite, measuring 27.3 x 27.4 cm, signed I.Lind on the bottom right.
