Jõgever, Silvia (1924-2005). Naked. (the end 1940 – the beginning 50s).

This exceptional piece titled "Naked" by Silvia Jõgever, painted in the late 1940s to early '50s, is a testament to her versatile artistic ability. Born in 1924 near Tartu, Jõgever's artistic journey began in 1942 at the Maximum rates of the fine arts in Tartu, culminating in her graduation in 1952 from the State art institute Estonian SSR. Working as a teacher in Tartu schools since 1948, she also participated in exhibitions between 1960 and 1967. With personal exhibitions in Tartu's State art museum (1972) and Tallinn's Art interior (1973), Jõgever explored landscapes, abstract compositions, and figurative works. Although her work in oil is scarce, this piece reveals her unique style and ability, making it a rare and valuable addition to any collection.
Olga Terri: A Portrait of an Artist

Olga Terri (1916 – 2011) was an Estonian artist who studied graphics at the State School of Arts and Crafts and painting at the Tallinn School of Fine and Applied Arts from 1943-1944, where her teacher was Erik Haamer. The main focus of her work was portraiture, with landscape occasionally emerging as an equal partner. Terri's emotional range leans towards stark poetry. Immediately after World War II, Olga Terri was one of the few artists who disregarded official ideology and the creation of socialist realist illusions of happiness, instead expressing the anguish, fear, and humiliation of a time of suffering in her paintings.
Strahhov, Anatoli (s. 1946). Kardin (2023)

Artist: Anatoli Strahhov. This stunning piece, "Kardin", is a blend of oil and tempera on canvas, measuring 27 x 35 cm. Signed by the artist, A. Strahhov, in 2023. Strahhov studied at the Tshinvali Art School from 1963 to 1967 and at the Estonian SSR State Art Institute from 1971 to 1976. He currently lives and works in Tallinn. A member of the Estonian Artists' Union and the Estonian Russian Artists' Association, Strahhov has been featured in national and international exhibitions since 1975. His works, which skillfully create the impression of different materials and textures, balance conservatism and experiment, tradition and exoticism, expressive materiality and ephemeral boundaries. His works are part of private collections in the USA, Finland, Italy, France, Japan, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, and Estonia. He has participated in more than 30 solo and group exhibitions.
