Lepik, Hugo (1905 – 2001). The Alpine Violets. (1950s)

Hugo Lepik's masterpiece "The Alpine Violets" from the 1950s showcases his exceptional talent in painting landscapes, capturing the deep and vigorous coloring that is characteristic of his works. This oil on canvas, measuring 41.5 x 33.5 cm, features beautiful scenes from Estonia and images from Sweden and Norway. Lepik, a graduate of the State Industrial and Art School, traveled extensively to enhance his skills, eventually emigrating to Sweden in 1944. His works have been exhibited in various cities, including Riga, Kaunas, Antwerp, Rome, Budapest, Stockholm, Montreal, and throughout Sweden.
Darmstädter, Hannes (1913 -1962) Still Life (1948)

Born in Munich, Paul Braig is a French painter. Paul Braig studied at the Munich Academy and in 1923-1924 at the Bauhaus in Dessau under Kandinsky and Klee, then in France at the rich and powerful school of Roger Bissière. His movement - Expressionism. But according to the critic Gérald Schurr, Expressionism is endowed with "a certain tenderness and oriental sensuality". To this can be added his free, skillful brushstrokes, which often made him a remarkable portraitist and a highly sought-after poster artist. He was rightly considered the Courbet of our time – modernized, that is! Working in France, Italy and other countries.
Kleis, H. A. Still life (mid 20th century)
