Einmann, Eduard (1913 – 1982). Field on Ukraine. (1950)

Bormeister, Marju (born 1945). Rutja. (1990)
"Rutja" is a captivating oil on cardboard piece by the renowned artist Marju Bormeister, painted in 1990. This artwork encapsulates a moment from Bormeister's life when she likely visited Rutja in summer with her father, Märt Bormeister. A reflection of Marju's deep connection with Tallinn’s Art House and her eau de turpentine world of colours. Trained in theatre design, painting, interior design, and various printmaking techniques at the Estonian Art Academy, Marju has left a significant mark in the arts sector, teaching monotype techniques across several countries and training workers of diplomatic corporations in her Tallinn studio.
Peil, Voldemar (1907 – 1999). Seacoast. (1960-70)
Oil on canvas pasted on cardboard portrays a unique blend of Voldemar Peil's artistic skill. A student of eminent artists and a renowned stage designer, Voldemar Peil (1907 - 1999) took an active interest in landscapes and portraits. His work "Seacoast" (1960-70) reflects the beauty of the coastal region and epitomizes his engagement with nature. As an awarded People's Artist of Estonia, his legacy lives on through his extensive contributions to the Estonian art scene, including the Narva Drama Theatre, “Vanemuine,” Tallinn Drama Theatre, and Russian State Drama Theatre. In 1978, his artistic excellence was celebrated in a personal exhibition in Moscow (House of Scientists).
Hoeffler, Johann Adolf (1825 – 1898). On the Edge of the Forest. (1870 – 90s)
This remarkable oil on canvas by Johann Adolf Hoeffler titled "On the Edge of the Forest" from the period 1870-90s exemplifies the artist's deep connection to landscapes. Measuring 85,5 x 111, the artwork showcases Hoeffler's signature at the lower right. A part of the Frankfurt and Kronberg painters, Hoeffler shared close associations with notable names like Burger and Burnitz. His education was profound, having studied at the Städel Institute and the prestigious Munich and Düsseldorf Art Academies. The years from 1848 to 1853 saw Hoeffler traveling extensively to North America and Cuba. The travel inspired numerous drawings and oil studies. Post his travels, the 1860s marked a period where he ardently concentrated on capturing the enchanting landscapes around Frankfurt.
Sivadi Ardo (1900 – 1966). Bridge. (1950s)

Artwork by Fuks, Margarethe (1921 – 2005)
Fuks, Margarethe was a renowned artist, born in 1921 in Leningrad. Her family moved to Estonia the same year. She completed her primary education in Tallinn in 1935 and graduated from the State School of Applied and Fine Arts in 1940, specializing in decorative painting. She furthered her studies at the J.Koorti State School of Applied Arts in 1940-41 and at the Tallinn School of Fine and Applied Arts in 1942-43 under N.Mei and E.Haamer. She worked in Sindi and in Tallinn at A. Mõttus's studio and at "Arsis" from 1944-83. She became a member of the Artists' Union in 1955. Fuks illustrated and designed numerous children's and youth books, textbooks, youth magazines, and newspapers. She also practiced poster art and painted cityscapes, still lifes, and portraits. In 1947, she designed the badge and breastplate for the first general song festival of the Estonian SSR, together with A.Hoidre. Her work is characterized by the use of gouache on paper, with dimensions of 28.2 x 45.9 cm. Each piece is signed and dated, with a publisher's text on the reverse confirming authorship.
