Poet, painter and graphic artist, born in 1911 near Pärnu. Died in 1990 in Sweden.
In 1934–40 and 1943, Arno Vihalemm studied painting and graphic art at “Pallas” under the guidance of N. Triik, K. Liimandi, A. Vabbe and A. Vard. After the war, he cultivated painting in Sweden, but mainly graphic art, becoming one of the most interesting Estonian masters abroad in this field in the 1950s and 60s.
He has relatively few portraits; this portrait is a good work.
Ivar Paljak (1931–2021) - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Chairman of the Estonian Cultural Team, Member of the Board of the Estonian Scientific Society in Sweden, Member of the REL Representative Council since 2000, Member of the REL Language Committee. Order of the Estonian National Coat of Arms, 4th class 2000. Member of the Estonian Government in Exile 1985–92 “Children”: two (aged 55 and 60). Important to me are issues of preserving the Estonian national group in Sweden and issues related to Estonian journalism in Sweden.
Burman, Karl sen. (1882 – 1965). Three Cows. Etude. (1940 – 50s.)

Watercolour, pencil, and cardboard masterpiece depicting "Three Cows. Etude" from the 1940-50s era. Crafted by the renowned artist Karl Burman who underwent art education in Tallinn under K.Vinkler. He furthered his knowledge in Moscow at the Stroganov School of technical drawing and in St. Petersburg at the Shtiglits Art School. From 1902 to 1907, he diligently studied architecture at the Petersburg Academy of Arts.

Monika's studies in art also took her to the Leipzig Academy of Graphic Arts and the Munich Academy. It's worth noting that Monika Põks hails from an artistic lineage, being the daughter of renowned artist Karin Pipenberg.
