This pastose and temperamental work was created by Axel Eist, a medical painter and well-known figure in Tartu's artistic life. Eist studied painting from 1959 to 1964 under the guidance of E. Ya.M. Arrak and joined the Artists' Union of Estonia in 1989. His expressive brushwork and vivid imagery embody the spirit and aesthetics of his era.

He has actively participated in numerous exhibitions both domestically and internationally since 1980. In 1987, he became a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists. His works have been exhibited globally and are housed in major museums and private galleries across various countries.
