Aunapuu Hermann (1915 – 1998). Otepää. (1957)
Watercolour on cardboard created by Hermann Aunapuu in 1957, this artwork is signed by the artist as "Aunapuu 57" on the lower right. Hermann Aunapuu (1915-1998), a prominent artist, was trained in the prestigious Pallas School of Art, under the guidance of mentors like Ado Vabbe. Aunapuu's artistic prowess can be seen in his landscapes, still lifes, city views, nudes, and portraits, all reflecting his remarkable sense of color. Often compared to his contemporaries Elmar Kits and Endel Kõks, Aunapuu faced hardships during his career, including forced labor in Vorkuta. Despite these challenges, he continued to create art, working as a window designer for many years, until his first solo exhibition in Tartu in 2003. This piece, titled "Otepää," offers a unique insight into Aunapuu's creative brilliance and rich artistic heritage.

Ilmar Kimm (1920 – 2011): Tallinn – Pärnu mnt. (1981)
Ilmar Kimm (1920 - 2011) was a renowned artist based in Tallinn and Pärnu. His work, "Tallinn – Pärnu mnt. (1981)" is an oil on canvas masterpiece measuring 81 x 100 cm. The signature "Ilmar Kimm 81" can be found on the lower right of the painting. On the reverse, it reads "Ilmar Kimm Tallinn – Pärnu mnt 1981.a. õ.l. 81 x 100cm". Kimm graduated from the I. Repin Institute of Art in painting in 1948. He was a faculty member at the Tartu State Art Institute from 1948-51 and at ERKI in Tallinn from 1952-88 (from 1954 as an associate professor, from 1965 as a professor, 1963-83 as head of the painting department, and 1983-88 as a consulting professor). He practiced all painting genres, with a particular focus on historical and work-themed figure compositions and portraits.
Beyer Hans Walter (1878 -1963). Evening Landscape. (1920 – 30s)
Oil on canvas by renowned Swiss artist, graphic artist, and sculptor Hans Beyer. This Evening Landscape from the 1920s-30s reflects Beyer's affinity for landscapes, with his works predominantly held at the Bern Art Museum. Beyer's extensive training spanned cities like Basel, Vienna, Munich, and Paris. This piece is a testament to his unparalleled skill and vision.
Ilmar Kimm: A Versatile Artist and Esteemed Educator
Ilmar Kimm (1920 - 2011) was a renowned artist, best known for his work "Päevalilled" (1982). This piece, an oil on canvas, measures 81 x 70 cm and is signed by the artist himself. Kimm graduated from the I. Repin Institute of Art in 1948 and went on to teach at the Tartu State Art Institute from 1948-51 and at ERKI in Tallinn from 1952-88. He held various positions including professor and consultant. Kimm was a versatile artist, exploring all genres of painting, but he was particularly known for his historical and work-themed figure compositions and portraits.
