Oil on plywood, “Autumn (1912)” by August Pulst is a rare and culturally valuable work created during his training at Riga Art School from 1911 to 1915. Under the guidance of eminent instructors like V. Purvitis, V. Tillbergs, and B. Borchert, Pulst refined his craft, later contributing to various fields such as theater decoration and museum founding. His landscapes, flowers, and views of the old town, often bearing an ethnographical touch, are cherished and exhibited since 1919. This painting, marked with “A.
