Watercolour masterpiece crafted on paper measuring 35,5 x 23, this work is signed on the lower right by A.Promet. Its reverse side is marked with the date 20/IV/35. Aleksander Promet, a distinguished artist, began his art journey in St.Petersburg at the renowned Shtiglits School. He later honed his craft alongside esteemed artists in cultural hubs such as London, Paris, and Brussels. His artworks are characterized by their national and fantastical motifs, all encapsulated within a romantic aura. The artist made his exhibition debut in Tartu in 1909, later showcasing in places like St.Petersburg, Helsinki, and Narva.
