Pavel, Louis (1915 – 1977). A House in Piedu (1950s)

Watercolour artwork on paper showcasing a picturesque representation titled “A House in Piedu” from the 1950s. Louis Paul, a celebrated artist and alumnus of Art School Pallas, completed his studies in 1944 under the guidance of Ado Vabbe. This piece’s authenticity is confirmed by its marking on the reverse, which reads: “Mart Paveli erakogust 34 x 33 nr.36”, signifying its origin from the collection of the artist’s son.
