Artist: Jüri Palm (1937 – 2002). This stunning colour lithograph on paper, measuring 34 x 50 cm, is a testament to Palm’s remarkable talent and unique artistic vision. A prominent painter, Palm graduated from ERKI in 1963, specializing in graphics. He created a series of linocuts, woodcuts, and lithographs in the 1960s, and drawings in the 1970s, a large part of which were exhibited in the Tallinn Art Salon in 1979. Palm’s drawings and world are generally less idyllic, often reflecting a great inner unrest. He is one of the most prominent Estonian painters and graphic artists of the second half of the 20th century.
