Laikmaa’s influence is palpable, guiding students towards national romantic themes and pastel techniques. The artwork showcases Kull’s prowess as a budding artist. In subsequent years, notably between 1925-26, Kull pursued further studies at Pallas under the guidance of N. Triik. His artistic journey also took him on inspirational trips to Germany and Finland in 1920 and 1922. The piece is signed on the lower right as “N.Kull 1921”.
