Titled “Sügist maalimast,” this piece dates back to the 1960s and showcases the artist’s mastery in capturing the essence of Autumn. Mihailov’s work as an educator in the Tallinn State Art Institute from 1954 to 1978 added to his reputation as a prominent figure in the art world. The signature of Konstantin Mihailov and the year of his birth (s. 1908) can be found on the reverse lower right of the artwork.
