Knobloch, Joseph Rolf (1891 – 1964). Rocky Seashore (1920 -30s)

This exquisite oil on canvas, titled “Rocky Seashore”, measures 60.2 x 80 and is the work of the celebrated artist Josef Rolf Knobloch. The artist has signed it on the lower right as “J.Rolf Knobloch München”. Knobloch, who underwent formal training at the Art School in Liebwerda and later at the Technical University in Munich, has been showcasing his works since 1915. He was a frequent exhibitor at the Glass Palace in Munich. Landscapes were among his preferred subjects, and this artwork stands as a testament to his profound love for nature and his impeccable skill in capturing its essence.
