Kimm Ilmar. (1920 – 2011). Bay Ohesaare. (1985)

This remarkable oil painting on canvas, measuring 81 x 116, showcases the exceptional talent of I. Kimm, who has signed it in the lower right. The reverse side bears another inscription: “I. Kimm Ohesaare pank.(1985) Õli, lõuend 81 x 116”. Kimm Ilmar’s art education took root in Leningrad, where he completed the Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture named after I.Repina in 1948. By 1965, he had achieved the esteemed title of professor. “Bay Ohesaare” (1985) is a testament to his mastery and understanding of the art form.
