Paul Kamm, a celebrated Estonian artist, created the magnificent piece “Beacon” in 1964. This graphic on paper, measuring 34 x 45, is a symbol of his artistic journey. First participating in an exhibition of amateur artists in Kärdla in 1953, he quickly gained recognition, culminating in the first prize. Under special control at the State Art Institute of the Estonian SSR in 1961, he was mentored by renowned graphic artist Olev Soans. In the same year, he showcased his work in Moscow and received a diploma. By 1963, he was a member of the Union of Artists of the Estonian SSR. “Beacon” is a testament to Kamm’s skill and creativity, a piece that continues to resonate with art enthusiasts around the world.
