His achievements and honors, such as the gold medal at the Great Berlin Art Exhibition, stand testament to his talent. His works have been showcased in renowned German art galleries, and one of his paintings, ‘Study of a Head’, was auctioned for $9,648 in 2011. Gebhardt was also an Honored citizen of Düsseldorf, and a street in Essen bears his name.
