Reuter, Fritz (1895 – 1971). Sail Boat on the Coast of the Netherlands (1920 s)

Oil on wood painting titled “Sail Boat on the Coast of the Netherlands” from the 1920s by the renowned German painter and engraver F. Reuter. The painting, which measures 29,5 x 40, is signed “F. Reuter. df” on the lower right. Reuter, a notable alumnus of the Städel Art School in Frankfurt and later the Düsseldorf Art Academy, was famed for his journeys. His style gravitated towards realistic impressionism, and his artworks enjoyed considerable acclaim during his time.
