Viktor Leškin first graduated in 1936. in decorative painting at the National School of Art and Industry, followed by studies at the Tallinn School of Fine and Applied Arts and the Tallinn State Institute of Applied Arts, which he graduated in 1949. in sculpture. Since 1946 Leškin worked as a lecturer at ERKI. In his work, the artist has cultivated oil painting, watercolor and charcoal drawing in a realistic style.
