Kivi, Ago (1933 – 2011). Leesikmäe (1967)

This exquisite linocut on paper, titled “Leesikmäe,” showcases the remarkable talent of Ago Kivi. Dated ’67 and measuring 10,5 x 15, the artwork captures the essence of his unique style and technique. Masterfully crafted, the piece is signed on the lower left as “Leesikmäe” (referring to the linoleic plastic film) and on the lower right by the artist, “Ago Kivi 67”. Ago Kivi completed his education from the State Art Institute in 1960, majoring in graphics. He further honed his skills at the Tallinn Pedagogical Institute training courses.
